Jeff's 3rd Birthday!!

Well, I have a lot of blogging to do. I am going to try to catch it up. In order to do so I have to take us back to March. Jeff had his 3rd birthday!! He was so excited for it and totally new what happens on birthdays!! He picked white donuts for breakfast. We went to Planet Kid with his cousins. Max was able to be in town which was super cool and then we had a family party that evening!! Jeff was really into Buzz and Batman this birthday as you can see from all the photos!

These are just some videos of the kinds of things that have been happening around our house lately while it has been cold. The sun is finally coming out to visit this past week. YEAH!

BATMAN!!

Jeff is OBSESSED with Batman all of a sudden! Kassie gave his these pj's for Christmas and I have barely been able to get them off him to wash them!

Instead of doing gift exchange this year with my siblings, we decided to all go out and have an adult night out!  So the Ugly Sweater Bowling Tournament was born!  Ryan won for ugliest sweater (although I think Kari's Vandal sweatshirt should have!) and my mom won the bowling!  It was a ton of fun!  My grandparents were here from Montana so they got to compete too!  It was great to have them here to celebrate with us for the new year!  I think 2010 is going to be a great one!!

Sledding in Idaho City

We went sledding with the Thompson crew right before Christmas!  It was so much fun!  My kids loved it!  Kade got really brave and did some sleep runs and Jeff decided he didn't really need to go with me so he hiked it up himself and came on down!  It was so AWESOME!  It was fun to get out and have fun with the fam!

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  We were able to spend a lot of time with both of our families!  We were able to spend a lot of time just enjoying each other too!  That was a huge present all in itself this year.   We have so much to be thankful for!  I always love the holiday season!  I love being with lots of people I love, decorating,  love presents, food, lights, ribbons and shopping in the crowds but most of all I love to think of my Savior and his birth.  Without him none of this would matter...

We hosted a Christmas Eve lunch at our house this year for the Thompson family.  I got to use my Grandma Ulmer's holiday dishes that she handed down to me and my sisters and it turned really cute.  We ate till we were going to throw up!  It was a great time!

We did the Nativity Story with the kids and had a thought for the adults and then Grandpa read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to all the kids!  Then over to the Ulmer's!

We read the Christmas Story there too!! All I have to say is my kids better darn well know what Christmas is really about!!!

My kids were so fun this year!  They really got into everthing!  Kade was so excited he couldn't go to sleep!  He said he heard Santa come!  I am just bummed it is over.

Snow Much Fun!

We had out first snow and the boys had to get out and play even though it is like 7 degrees outside. They didn't care one bit! They like to go over to this drainage swell and play on the sleds. Afterwards we had to have some hot cocoa! Lots of fun! We can't wait for some more snow!

Thanksgiving

We went to my sister Katie's house for Thanksgiving but I didn't take any pictures. We had a ton of fun and they were great hosts to much of my family. We had a great meal and I made my first apple pie from scratch that turned out pretty dang good. The boys did some shooting and the girls did some shopping. It was a great holiday. Kade had his Thanksgiving feast at school last Wednesday and made these 2 costumes. Ryan and Jeff put up the Christmas lights and needed some hot cocoa to warm up. A little male bonding time!

Kade Turns SiX!!!

Kade had his birthday a few weeks ago! His birthday is always one big party! It is so close to Halloween that it makes for a lot of excitement! This year we decided to celebrate with the fam on Halloween so we could trick or treat afterwards all together. The kids really had a good time. Kade went through his first haunted house. After he said he never wanted to go through one again because it was so stupid. I think he might be like me and not really like the scary stuff! Kade is getting so big and mature these days. I have really enjoyed watching him mature over the past few years. He is such a smart, sensitive kid. We are so truly blessed to have him in our lives. I can't wait to see what his future holds! I can't believe that he is six!!
