A few funny pics!

 Kade and Jeff had to spend a lot of time playing together and being brothers.  They started sharing a room but many nights preferred falling asleep on the couch!

Jeff has become quite obsessed with Ironman.  I found him hiding in the closet with a red marker doing this to himself because he wants to be Ironman.

Eclipse Premier

I was really sad to not get to go see Eclipse with my mom and sisters but these girls made it super fun!  The movie ended up being just as I had imagined.

D.C. Temple Trip

A few girls, us and all our kids did a quick trip to the DC Temple.  It was wonderful!  The kids got to spend some time walking the grounds and at the Visitors Center.  

Linvilla Orchards

The girls decided it would be fun to go orchard picking on a Saturday so we headed to the Linvilla Orchards.  We picked peaches and raspberries and had lunch in their little bakery.  It was all very delicious!  The kids got to play on the playground there that was really cool. It was all made of wood.  Then we visited the deer exhibit before we left.  Once again it was blistering hot but we all survived and had  a great time!

Delware Beaches

I loved the beaches in Delaware!  We went there 2 or 3 times while we were there!  They were clean and beautiful.  The towns near by with beach homes were so quaint and the boardwalk in Rohobath was fun too!  The kids loved playing in the waves and in the sand.  Ryan spent a lot more time there than us when we were not with him.  He loves surfing the waves.  I wish we could have spent more time there but it took about 2 hours to get there and on the weekends there was a bit of traffic.

Delaware Storms

The storms on the east coast surprised me a bit.  Our apartment was on the third floor and this was the what happened the first day we were in Delaware.  It made me a little nervous.  It would do this and then the next thing you know it would be sunny and hot.

Amish Country

One of the first outings we took with the girls in Delaware was to the Amish country in Intercourse, PA. I didn't get very many pictures or good ones at that!  At first my camera was on some weird setting.  It was soooo hot and humid!  We had some homeade ice cream and got to see how the Amish drive around in black buggies and make everything themselves.  The countryside was beautiful!  We spent many Saturdays with these girls and their kids.  They were all awesome!  It was so nice to make friends so easily and have people to do things with while our husbands worked like dogs!

Leavin on a Jet Plane

So when school got out for the year, the boys and I headed to Philadelphia to be with Ryan.  I was a little nervous about being alone but I have to say it went great.  The boys are superstar travellers!  We pretty much had to run to all our connecting flights so they got to get energy out and they loved getting snacks on the plane.

Bros at the Beach

Ryan had to leave for Delware before the rest of us.  We had to finish up the school year before we could go.  Scott came to visit Ryan and they got to hit up the beach and eat some yummy Philly cheese steak sandwiches!

Kade's Kindergarten Graduation

Kade finished kindergarten with flying colors.  His teacher was Mrs. Matthew's.  He really loved going to school this year and learned so much.  He didn't love the end of the year assembly so much.  He said he had stage fright and couldn't find me in the audience.  He did love field day though!

Kody's Graduation

My little brother, the last of all six of us, graduated from high school!  My parents are empty nesters finally.  We all celebrated!  I think he has a lot in store for him.

This is just some funny videos of the kids practicing baseball.  Kade played little league this year but I didn't get any pics because I was the coach and it was a little too crazy trying to coach and watch Jeff! 

Easter 2010

Holidays are always a little crazy for us since we have most of our family close by. We decorated eggs with the Thompson's, had an easter egg hunt at home and with the Ulmer's too! It was tons of fun!
