Kade's Field Trip

Kade's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch today. They went on a hayride and picked their own pumpkin. They also ran through the straw maze. Kade loves school and has made a lot of good friends. He is growing up so fast! Jeff came along for the ride and was quite the trooper. It was pretty nippy out there today!

Pumpkin Patch with Ulmer's

We went to Linder Farms with the clan this past family night. It was fun! They have added a petting zoo this year and the kids really enjoyed feeding the animals. My batteries died after the petting zoo so I didn't get any other pictures. Check out Kori's blog if you want to see more.

Annual Halloween Party at the Price's

Every year Ryan's cousin Michelle throws a big Halloween party that is soo fun! Every year she and everyone get into it a little more. I didn't get any pics but everyone brings scary snacks. This year I brought popcorn hands. The food was all delicious and Michelle decorated to the nines of course! It was fun! I wish I would have gotten pictures of everyone but I didn't. Kade was a Transformer, Jeff was a spider and I am curios if people can tell what Ryan and I were...If you can't guess we were the couple from High School Musical Three. Hence, the graduation robe I'm wearing. Kade has a lot of fun getting together with the second cousins. His best buddy Myles was Dopey. Can you believe how cute they posed for that pic?

Meridian Speedway

Ryan's good friend Mike Hampton invited us to see him race at the speedway a few weekends ago. We have been meaning to take Kade all summer but hadn't and when we heard Mike raced a car in the hornets race it was the perfect chance to go. Kade loves race cars, Nascar, you name it! He had so much fun! He cheered on Mike and others. He also met some new friends. They had a lot of fun together! Mike invited us back to the pit ally after the races and Kade got to sit in and look at his car. He also gave him an autographed picture that Kade has hung on his bedroom wall now. Jeff had fun too but fell asleep believe it or not for some of the races. Thanks Mike for the invite, it will go down in history for Kade I'm sure.

McKenzie Katherine Cook Has Arrived

Kassie and Steven had their first little girl on September 18th at about 8:09am. She weighed 9lbs 5oz and was 19inches long. She is a cutie! She is being a good baby for her parents and sleeping quite well. We also had a new nephew born on September 20th to Scott and Jamie. I don't have a picture because they are in Indiana enduring dental school! They had a baby boy named Cole Scott. It sounds like Jamie had a pretty easy labor and everyone is doing well. We are so excited for their family and can't wait to meet the little guy this holiday season!!

Labor Day Fun!

We had a busy fun day last Monday. We went for a bike ride on the greenbelt with Grandpa and Grandma Thompson that morning. It was a lot of fun. I didn't get a lot of pics because we were busy riding. That afternoon we went to Boondocks with the Ulmer's and a few of Kris' friends. Kris is leaving for college this weekend and so we all wanted to celebrate!! Just kidding! We'll miss having Kris around but wish him the best of luck at school.

Kade had a ton of fun mini golfing. He was actually pretty good. Jeff wasn't so happy to have to stay in the stroller but him and Kenzie kept each other company.

The go-carts were everyone's favorite. Kade convinced the track crew guy to let him drive one of the junior cars! He did awesome! I think he might be destined for NASCAR. He also rode with Grandpa and Grandma.

Kade ruled the bumper boats. His gun worked better than anyone else's and he showed no mercy. You can see him spraying everyone right in the head in the pics if you look close.

Jeff got to ride a few rides and play in the playland. He climbed through the whole thing like a champ. He just took off! That's Jeff!

We also did lazer tag and played video games. It was all so much fun. Thanks mom and dad for the fun day!

Boating and Camping

We went camping and boating with hour friends Megan and Brett last weekend. We went up to Lucky Peak. My kids were soooo good. I was so shocked. They had so much fun in the boat, playing on the beach in the sand and water. Kade met a few friends to play with, as usual. We had foil dinners by the camp fire and then magically both my kids went right to sleep in the tent. We were able to hang out and talk by the fire for awhile until a grumpy guy from next camp told us we were being to loud. It was great! We had a lot of fun camping, skiing and just hanging out. Thanks Megan and Brett!

Kody's Sports Goggles

Kade found Kody's sports glasses at grandma and grandpa's a couple of weeks ago and had to have them. He would not accept no for an answer. Both him and Jeff have been obsessed with them ever since. They will put them on and shoot hoops and just hang out wearing them. It is really silly.

Future Olympians?

A few weeks ago, Jeff out of know where just started doing summersaults. Maybe he got it from watching the Olympics or from watching Kade, we're not sure but it was pretty cute.

Twin Falls Temple

Last weekend we went to the Twin Falls Temple open house and then to the Twin Falls with the Thompson clan. It was a fun day. We enjoyed getting to see the beautiful temple and then had a fun picnic in the park at the falls.

Sprinkler Fun

A few weeks ago we played in the backyard with Jack, Kenzie, Maddie and Max (kind of) in the sprinkler. My kids were the only one that really liked it though. Jeff had a blast! Nobody planned on getting wet so were all in diapers.

What's not quite right here?

I thought this was funny. Can you figure out what is so funny?
