We went to Montana a few weeks ago for my Uncle Greg's wedding. I didn't take any good pictures at the wedding because I was too busy chasing kids around and viisiting. The wedding was on a ranch on the Missouri River. It was really pretty. Kade had so much fun running around and eventually got the job of "can crusher" which he loved. After the wedding we went my grandparents cabin on Sheep Creek. I grew up going there and have many memories there. It is nice to bring my kids there now and make new memories. They both had a lot fun playing in the creek and just hanging out with cousins. We adults had fun swimming, playing cards, eating lots of crap, drinking gallons of pop and just visiting.

Happy 1st Birthday Kenzie Lou!
Kenzie had her first birthday this past weekend. She is getting so big so fast. We had fun celebrating with her. The boys really liked her new baby and doll house. The last picture is of Jeff sleeping. I think it is so cute and this is how I like to see him lately because he is so crazy when he's awake lately!

Happy Birthday and Father's Day Ryan
Ryan had his birthday on Father's Day this year. We celebrated both with the Ulmer's because all of the Thompson's were out of town. I tried to make the Banana Split Bomb Cake for him but it kind of bombed because I didn't have enough time to let everything freeze long enough. Ryan thought it tasted really good though. Kade wrote Dad a oem from him and Jeff and got him some lawn darts for Father's day. He wanted to pick him out a remote control car so I think the lawn darts were a better choice. We also made him Grandma Ulmer's famous sticky rolls for breakfast. I think he had a good day. Happy Birthday and Father's Day. You deserve it, Ryan!

First Stitches
Jeff got his first battle wound last weekend. He was going up the stairs in my parents garage and lost his balance. He turned as he fell and hit his eyebrow just right on a can on beans (which is actually one of his favorite foods). He didn't bleed very much but it was gashed open pretty good. We took him in to the doctor where he got six stitches. Getting the stitches was actually the worst part. He was a trooper. He even smiled at the doctor and nurse once he had calmed down (and they had given him a popsicle).

It's FINALLY Warm
It was over 80 degrees today! Yeah! Kori, Jack and Kenzie stayed the night and we went to the library and to the pool to have some fun. It was so nice! Kenzie and Jeff loved the water. Kade has gotten so big and explored the whole pool.

Jeff Stylin' These Days
Jeff's hair was getting pretty long. I could pull it into a pony in the back and the sides were starting to curl under so we took a trip to Monkey Dooz. I decided a fo-hawk would be cute. What do you think? We like it!

Preschool Program
Kade had a great first year of preschool. His teacher was Miss Michelle and she was phenomenal. He learned to identify and write all his letters, learned to count to 30, all shapes and colors and not to mention tons of other things. His teacher says he's a natural leader and that he's going to be class president some day. We are so proud of him. He is growing up to be quite the kid.
Each child had a little part in the Spring Program. Kade's part was to count to 30 by himself in front of everyone. He did a great job!
This is Kade's class singing one of their favorite songs, "Special Me". They are all wearing the crowns they made in class. So cute.

Party at the Park
Grandma Dalton was in town this past weekend visiting so we all decided to get together at Settlers Park. It was very hot but it was also fun to see everyone and visit. The kids had tons of fun playing and eating lots of junk food.

Warm Weather Fun
Last weekend it was in the mid 90's so we decided to get out our water toys and have some fun. Jeff was in heaven. He loved the water. Kade said it was cold but he still had a lot of fun. There Uncle Steven joined in on the fun too.

Busy Week
Last week my grandparents came to watch my brothers district baseball tournament. We spent a lot of days watching games and hanging out. Jeff was quite warn out at the end of it all. My grandma brought the boys these hard hats. I thought they were cute. I didn't get any good pictures with my grandparents or of the games. The team had a hard week so I think I just wasn't in the mood.

Happy 50th Birthday Grandma Jan!
We celebrated my mom's 50th Birthday and Mothers Day last weekend at my house. It was a lot of fun. We played a game and Kari made a video of her life thus far. I didn't get very good pictures because I was the host. I hope I look as young as my mom at 5o!

Playing and Such
Kade borrowed a Nintendo 64 from his uncles. Him and Jeff fight over it. We have had to set some ground rules.
Kade and Jeff love to play outside. We are so excited for the warm weather that is coming.
